OES Collection Site Designations and Payment Schedule – As of April 1, 2010
To identify what type of designation site you operate and whether you are eligible to receive a collection incentive please see the below information.
Collection Types
Drop-off Location or Event
- Receives acceptable WEEE at fixed locations or at event based collection
- Sites are eligible to receive a collection incentive
Pick-up Service
- Offers a collection service to customers and generators of acceptable WEEE
- Sites are eligible to receive a collection incentive
Closed Drop-off
- Receives acceptable WEEE at fixed locations from staff, students, or tenants
- Not open to the public
- Sites are eligible to receive a collection incentive
Self-generated IC&I
- Receives acceptable WEEE from business operations
- Not open to the public
- Sites are not eligible for a collection incentive
