An OES Affiliate is a private sector, non-profit or government organization who contracts directly with and is registered by an OES-Approved Processor to handle their residential and/or IC&I electronic waste produced in Ontario.

How the system works

All Affiliates must be registered by an OES-Approved Processor through the OES Application and Registration System before a pick-up is made. The Processor is responsible for distributing this number to the Affiliate as it is required to complete the material tracking Waybill.

Affiliates can be registered by one or more OES-Approved Processors but will need a unique Generator Site Number for each registration. All arrangements for pick-up, transportation, packing supplies, material tracking and processing are the Affiliate’s responsibility. OES does not provide these services for Affiliates.

As on OES-Approved Affiliate you can request use of the OES Affiliate Identifier by contacting marketing@ontarioelectronicstewardship.ca. Make sure your request includes the name of your Processor and your Generator Site Number.

Processor Incentive Arrangements & Payment

Affiliates are subject to terms and conditions as prescribed by the OES-Approved Processor, as OES is not a party to the contracts between Affiliates and Processors.

All OES-Approved Processors have signed a Processor Incentive Agreement  with OES.  In order to receive the Processor Incentive payment Processors will have to submit a Certificate of Destruction (CoD) and complete each Waybill in accordance with OES Reporting and Waybill Requirements to be eligible for a Processor Incentive Payment. For more information, please review our Processor Incentive Program section.
