Re: Invitation to Attend February 26 Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) Information Session for Municipal WEEE Collection Sites
You have been sent this information because you have submitted an application to register your municipality as a WEEE collection site, or have begun the process to do so.
In order to provide more details on what is involved following your collection site registration and approval process, and to address the operational questions that many of you have raised, we will be holding a webinar on:
Thursday, February 26, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. (approximate)

To participate in this webinar, you will watch a presentation on your computer and listen to the speakers over your telephone line. Therefore, you will need internet access (preferably high speed/DSL) and a telephone line.
We invite you to register for the webinar and we will provide participation details the day before the event. Please note that only people who have registered will receive this information and be able to participate.
We also invite you to forward any questions you may have to us by end of day Friday, February 20th so that we can address them in the session. All participants will also be invited to submit additional questions during the webinar, using an online question feature.
Among the items we will be discussing:
- site approval process
- collection site terms and conditions
- items accepted in the WEEE program
- transportation logistics
- sorting, storage and packaging requirements
- running a WEEE collection event
- promotion and education.
