Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment

Late last week, Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) invited you to attend a webinar that   will be held on Monday, October 20 from 2:00 to approximately 3:30 p.m.

This is a second information session for interested service processors. It will update information provided during the previous webinar (on August 20) and provide new details about

1. Electronics Recycling Standard requirements,
2. OES’ online application
3. Recycler audit process
4. Methodology for allocating WEEE to approved processors.

If you have not yet done so, please take time to register online to attend. OES will email participation details by end of day tomorrow – on Friday, October 17. Only registered participants will receive this information.

Background Documents
Reference will be made to the WEEE Diversion Program Plan. Particular attention will be paid to Section 5.6, which concerns the allocation methodology. This section begins on page 74 of the Plan.
