How to Attend OES Webinar on Tuesday, February 19, 2008
This notice provides information about how to attend the Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) web-based meeting (webinar) for end-of-life (EOL) processors of electrical and electronic waste. You are receiving this because you have indicated interest in this meeting and/or registered with OES to attend. If you have not yet registered with OES but would like to attend this meeting, please click here to: Register. (Please note, you will also have to register to sign into the webinar.)

Register with “Go to Meeting” to Enter this Webinar
You may have already registered with OES to attend this webinar; however, to gain access to the webinar presentation, you will be asked to “Register” with Go to Meeting. Click on the URL below, then complete the required fields to sign in for this session. You can do this now, or just before the session.

You will receive a “Thank you for registering” email that shows how to enter the webinar on February 19 and how to dial in. Please be sure to save this email. (Note – it will show an event time that runs between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm. The actual webinar start time is 10:00 a.m.)
Attending the Webinar
During the webinar, you will view a slide presentation over the internet and you will listen to the presentation by telephone. A landline (telephone) and high speed internet will enhance your experience. If you use a dial up internet connection, you will be able to see the presentation. However, you will need two separate telephone lines in order to view the slides and hear the presenter speaking.
If you plan to use a dial up connection to access the internet for this webinar, please reply to this email with "DIAL UP" in the subject.
There is no cost to participants to listen to or view the presentation.
Instructions on How to Access the Webinar
This meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19. You may sign in for the webinar anytime after 9:30 a.m. on that day.
To hear the presentation, please dial: 1-866-613-5220, then follow the prompts to add your participant code: 4277424#.
To view the presentation, please open your “Thank you for registering” email, then either click on the URL or on the “JOIN WEBINAR” button (top right).
You will be asked to “Manually Download Software.”
Click on the “Download Software” button. You will be given a choice to <RUN> or <SAVE> the “Go to Meeting” software. Click on <RUN> to view the presentation without downloading new software to your computer. You will be asked again if you want to “Run” the software; click “Run.”
If you see “Successfully Connected,” you are ready to go. If you enter before 10 a.m. on February 19, you will receive a message that says “Waiting for Organizer.”
Note: Some servers may display the webinar slowly. If you plan to participate over a server based connection, you may need to request assistance of your IT administrator.
During the Webinar
During the webinar, you will follow along with the slides as they are presented by OES. No one else will be able to view work on your computer. Slides from the presentation will be posted to the OES website following this session.
Submitting questions and comments
Webinar participants are encouraged to send questions and comments to the speaker through a “Question and Answer” function at the bottom of the webinar control panel. When you send questions and comments, they will only be visible to the presenters. It will not be possible for you to make verbal comments through the phone line. The questions and comments that you send in through the “chat” will be addressed - either during the webinar or as a follow up.
Exiting the webinar
To exit this webinar, simply close your internet browser or click on the <x> (at top right of the webinar control panel). If you would like to re-enter while the webinar is in progress, repeat the access steps that you originally completed to gain entry.
